YOUR NEXT NEIGHBORHOOD FIND
A good find is closer than you think.
Find a sale to explore, or put your own event on the map. Here’s where to begin.
1. Choose your area.
On Find sales, enter a U.S. city or ZIP code and choose a search distance. You can also use the location button if you want to share your device’s location for that search. Prefer to look around? Move or zoom the map and search the selected area, or draw an area to explore. The list remains available if you prefer browsing without the map.
2. Plan a visit.
Filter by date, sale type, or categories. Open a listing to read its description, see its hours, and check the location label. Create a Porchlight account with your email, username, and password, verify your email, then sign in to save favorites and view an eligible direct address or destination pin.
Approximate location means the host is sharing a general area, so the sale may be harder to find. Direct address means the host has selected a destination; sign-in and the host’s sharing schedule still control access. Check the latest details before traveling.
3. Host your own sale.
Sign in and select Host a sale. Add the event’s details and dates, select as many categories as you need, and upload a cover photo or choose a default. Search an address or place your own pin, then confirm the location visitors should use. Choose approximate or direct sharing before reviewing and publishing.
In your profile, you can make your sales discoverable by everyone or limit them to searches centered within your chosen distance. Search centers are visitor-selected, so this is not proof of a visitor’s physical location. Return to My sales to edit or remove your listing.
